Dear OISTAT Members,

It is with pleasure to invite you to the 2014 OISTAT Publication & Communication Commission Annual Meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 3-8. Registration is now open. With this invitation, I have included the registration form, programs for the meeting and the symposium, and information on the cultural trips.

This year, we will elect our new Chair for the next four years. In the meeting, the planning and directions of the commission will also be discussed. Your presence is vital to the future of the commission and to the organization as well.

The meeting will be held in conjunction with the international arts management symposium Cultural Landmark and Its Communities on October 5-6, a two-day symposium exploring the possibilities between arts centres and its communities. One of OISTAT’s important publications - World Scenography 1990-2005 is scheduled to be launched during our PCC visit with tentative date on October 7. An optional side program is arranged for you to experience the cultural scenes in Taipei.

Enclosed please find the registration package with the full program. Please return your registration form to the Headquarters (headquarters@oistat.org) no later than July 25th. Please also note that it is a low-budget meeting. Flight tickets, accommodation and other travel costs will be at your own expenses. Accommodation recommendations can be found in the registration package.

In addition, the deadline for nomination for PCC Chair is July 18th. Members who are interested, please contact Headquarters directly (headquarters@oistat.org)

Should you have any question or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or the Headquarters.

I look forward to seeing you in October in Taipei.

Sincerely,

Austin Wang
Chair, Publication & Communication Commission
