OISTAT Sound Design Webinar: Grapes 3D Audio Control - A Universal Software to Control 3D Audio Engines

Sep 27, 2024

Felix Deufel, CEO of Not a Number studio and founder of ZiMMT (center for immersive media arts, music and technology) will present his software development Grapes - 3D Audio Control, which was Beta released on May 24, 2024. Grapes is a universal tool for effortlessly mixing, performing and operating 3D audio across music, film, theater, AR/VR, games and arts.

This online presentation will be hosted by OISTAT Sound Design Sub-Commission and is open to anyone with an interest in (spatial) sound, for theatre or otherwise. Grapes is a manufacturer-agnostic tool that will be of special interest to people working with different spatialisers and allows your mix to work on different platforms. Which has a great potential for touring shows but also for spatial audio concerts taking place in multiple locations with different spatial setups at the same time, streaming both audio and spatial data over the internet.
