Hello Everyone,
My name is Richard Bryant and I am the current Chair of OISTAT's Publication and Communication Commission (PCC). In October of 2025, OISTAT and the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy will be hosting World Stage Design 2025 in Sharjah, UAE. If you are not aware this will not only be the first instance of WSD being held in the Emirates but also be a showcase of the creative works of students and artists exclusive to that area.
I am reaching out to you to seek your assistance. I am starting a campaign to raise funds to bring two guest speakers to World Stage Design 2025 in Sharjah, UAE. They are Megan Gill of Trinidad and Tobago and Ana of Mexico. I am inviting them to attend and speak on the topic of Interviewing, Writing, and Covering the people that make Theatre.
Our target goal for this fundraiser is US$ 2,000. Your donations would be used to help offset some of the travel and accommodation costs for my two guests, each traveling from different locations across the globe.
All donations will be handled by OISTAT Headquarters through their Paypal service. Any amount is welcome. Please make sure to specify that the donation is for the PCC.
The easiest way to donate to the OISTAT Publication and Communication Commission Campaign is through OISTAT Headquarters. This makes sure that the donated funds are handled and distributed properly and that all donations will be accounted.
As Chair of the PCC and editor of the PCC Newsletter, I will be happy to acknowledge any and all donors through our PCC Newsletter up to and through the completion of World Stage Design 2025. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please let us know.
If you are interested in sponsoring the talk, please reach out to OISTAT HQ at headquarters@oistat.org and they will be happy to discuss sponsorship opportunities with you. If you have any further questions, I can be reached here at pcc@oistat.org .
Regular updates will be coming as we get this campaign moving forward.
Thank you!
Best,
Richard Bryant
