Dear members of OISTAT Technology Commission,
OISTAT Technology Commission will be holding its annual meeting in Vienna, Austria from November 28th to December 1st 2018.
The election of the new TC Chair for the next four years will be held in the meeting. Delegates of the OISTAT Centres, Individual Members and delegates of Associate Members attending that commission meeting will be entitled to vote. Please see here for the Candidate Slate. Guidelines for election of Chairs of commissions can be found in OISTAT Statutes-Appendix 2.
The annual OISTAT commissions meetings are important for keeping a close network among OISTAT members but also a place for active exchange of knowledge and practices in the field of theatre and live performing arts in diverse cultures and all regions of the world.
During these meetings and events, OISTAT members gain a deeper understanding of local theatre scenes and cultural activities, while local participants are presented with opportunities to engage with global theatre professionals.
We are happy to invite you to Vienna in November 2018. Our host is OETHG, the Austrian OISTAT Centre.
The Austrian Theater Technology Association (OETHG) has been established to create a communication platform at national and international level to promote the exchange of professional experience and ideas as well as maintain and co-ordinate links with authorities, media and institutions. The membership of OISTAT and cooperation with many other international networks, organizations and individuals are the way that
OETHG wants to contribute to the process of permanent education, and to encourage the international exchange of ideas, projects and professionals. Attached please find the draft program.
