Dear Architecture commission members and supporters,
I am delighted to announce that details of the proposed OISTAT Architecture Commission meeting in Prague during the Prague Quadrennial (June 6-16th), followed by an architectural tour of historic theatres (June 14-17th), have now been finalized and are attached here.
This will give you the opportunity to attend the Prague Quadrennial, to participate in the OISTAT Forum and Architecture Commission meetings on 13th June and other commission meetings on the morning of 14th June, before starting the tour.
The architectural tour will leave Prague in the middle of the day on 14th June and will finish in Berlin on 17th June, where those who wish to can attend ‘Stage, Set, Scenery’, the major theatre trade event organized by the DTHG.
I am enormously grateful to Reinhold Daberto for organizing this tour, following on from the very successful tour he organized in North Italy in 2012. If you would like to join the tour please follow the instructions in the attached information.
Architecture commission meetings are open to anyone with an interest in theatre architecture and I do hope you will be able to join us. It will be a unique opportunity to see some of the extraordinary historic theatres in the Czech Republic and Germany.
