SENA 2022 will again celebrate the excellence of contemporary design for performance from Southern European & Northern African countries and regions, including all areas of design for performance as: Set, Costume, Lighting, Sound; as well as Research, Education and Technical training.
SENA 2022 will be held on October 25 – 29, 2022 in Rabat, Morocco, by CORP’SCENE. The program includes exhibition, performances, workshops, talks, seminars and OISTAT annual meetings in collaboration with OISTAT Commissions:
SENA 2022 includes exhibition, performances, workshops, talks, seminars and sessions in collaboration with the Canon project and following OISTAT Commissions: Research Commission, Costume Design Sub-commission and Lighting Design Sub-commission.
The Exhibition is dedicated to present the excellence of contemporary designer`s productions from 2017 to May 2022. Around 25 exhibitors will be selected by the juries to present their design works at the National Theatre Mohamed V Rabat, during the length of the event.
We welcome artists, professionals and emerging designers to apply under the categories of Scenography, Set, Costume, Lighting and Sound design, as well as the non-traditional performance creator and visual artist who create performative moments for live events. The exhibition will not be divided into separate categories, unless absolutely necessary due to technology and space conditions.
The eligible submissions are productions and/or designers from the listed Countries and Regions of the Southern Europe and Northern Africa. All exhibits must be of performances that have been taken to a final realized outcome (performance, installation, site specific event, etc..) between May 2017 and May 2022.
