We are in a world where nearly 1 person is forcibly displaced every two seconds because of conflict or persecution . An unprecedented 70.8 million people around the world have been forced from home. Among them are nearly 25.9 million refugees, over half of whom are under the age of 18. Can we improve the situation, the answers lie in our collective efforts.
The Empathy Lab: Stories of Hope is conceived as an Installation Art Performance to be put together in the USA and in Prague, Czech Republic in 2023. The project will consist of curated exhibit of ‘objects’, photographs, audio, and video recordings collected from and of refugees along with edited short films.
– Anyone from any part of the world can submit in one or all the categories, selected submissions will feature in the exhibit with credits-
How to record Video- Please find a quiet place with enough light to record the video in HD or higher resolution. If you are using your phone to record, make sure to keep the phone in horizontal position.
How to record Audio – Please record the audio in a quiet place with minimum atmosphere sound, please send file in MP3 format. If you are recording using your phone, please keep the phone close enough to the person to avoid atmosphere sound.
Photograph: Please take the photo against any neutral background, if possible, submit a high-resolution original photo taken by you. Make sure the file is in JPG or PNG or RAW format.
