Early-Bird Registration Deadline: June 1, 2026
Early Bird registration for Critical Costume 2026 is now open! Co-convened by Donatella Barbieri, Jessica Bugg, and Nadia Malik, with the support of the OISTAT Costume Design Sub-Commission, this international conference and exhibition, “Costume Interfaces and Interdisciplinary Entanglements,” will take place at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, from September 9 to 11, 2026. Register by June 1, 2026 to enjoy the Early Bird rate, and join costume professionals, researchers, and students from around the world for this exciting international gathering.

Want to meet the OISTAT Lighting Design Sub-Commission and learn more about its work? Conference by Candlelight and Scandlight 2026 offer a wonderful opportunity to do both in Stockholm, Sweden!
Hosted by OISTAT Sweden Centre, STTF, Conference by Candlelight runs from June 4 to 6, 2026 with a pre-conference on June 3, and offers a unique exploration of candlelit performance and historical lighting practices.
Immediately following, Scandlight 2026 takes place from June 7 to 9, 2026. Presented by the Association of Swedish Lighting Designers (SLF) in collaboration with the OISTAT Lighting Design Sub-Commissio, the event brings together lighting designers, researchers, and practitioners from around the world.
The OISTAT Lighting Design Sub-Commission will also hold its annual gathering during these events.
