ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
”Development in Digital Design – 3D” will look forward to see how the lighting design and Digital Design will develop and effect the future design result.
Scandlight 2015 – 3D – will try to find the answers on questions like:
- Where do we find the line between lighting design and Digital Design in the future?
- What type of sources do we find in the future – moving light, projections, video matrix or otherequipment?
- Strengths and weaknesses within different forms of technics for projections and video matrix.
- Will the future media servers serve as the foundation for our work with light?
- Will the strong expression in Digital Design kill the dramaturgy in the light design?
- Will there be more opportunities using Digital Design in images and video for the lighting design in the future than today? What does the designer of the future look like? Is it a lighting designer how we see him today or is it a designer who works as an artist with Digital Design for images and video? In what way will the images and video be an integrated part of the design and what type of tool do we use?
The conference is open to different art genres, techniques and forms – theatre, dance, music, circus, television, visual and multimedia art.
The conference is open to Lighting designers, researchers, developer, educators, teachers, students, and arts managers from all over the world interested in the art of light. This meeting is an opportunity to meet potential collaborators from different countries!
The conference working language is English.
