PCC Chair Candidate Slate Published
Dear OISTAT Members,
Registration for 2014 OISTAT Publication & Communication Commission Annual Meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 3-8 is now extended to August 20th, 2014. All OISTAT members are welcomed. With this invitation, I have included the registration form, programs for the meeting and the symposium, and information on the cultural trips.
In this meeting, our important topics and activities will include:
1. Election for new Commission Chair.
Two candidates nominated for Chair are Greer Crawley (UK) and Carl Walling (US). Please see the Candidate Slate.
2. World launch of World Scenography 1990-2005, one of OISTAT’s most important publication
3. Planning and directions of the commission as well as future projects will also be discussed.
4. An international arts management symposium Cultural Landmark and Its Communities is held in conjunction with PCC meeting on October 5-6, exploring possibilities between arts centres and its communities.
5. A cultural visit.
Your presence is vital to the future of the commission and to the organization as well.
Enclosed please find the registration package with the full program. Please return your registration form to the Headquarters (headquarters@oistat.org) no later than August 20th. Please also note that it is a low-budget meeting. Flight tickets, accommodation and other travel costs will be at your own expenses. Accommodation recommendations can be found in the registration package.
