Dear colleagues!
The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum invite you to take part in the International conference "Bakhrushin Readings - 2020", which will be held on 11-12 November 2020 in the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum. The topic of the upcoming conference is "Music and Stage".
The main purpose of the conference is the modern understanding of musical theatre in the variety of its genres (opera, ballet, operetta, musical, rock performance, musical performance), as well as the role of music in dramatic performances; the deep connection of musical directors, artistic directors, librettists, choreographers and opera directors.
Specialists from Russia and other countries are invited to participate: musicologists, theatre experts, cultural experts, art critics, composers, theatre artists, museologists, artists; managers and employees of theatres and theatre museums, research institutes, educational institutions; independent researchers, representatives of theatre, music and museum public organizations.
Venue: A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum, “Karetny Saraij” exhibition hall (31/12 Bakhrushina street, Moscow, “Paveletskaya” metro station).
Following the conference, a collection of materials will be published.
The language of the conference: Russian.
Payment for travel, food and accommodation is made at the expense of the sending party.
