This year, more than 1,200 theatre practitioners from 65 countries took part in World Stage Design (WSD) 2025, celebrating achievements in theatre design, technology, and architecture from around the world. For the first time in OISTAT’s history, the World Congress was live streamed, significantly lowering barriers to participation while advancing the organization’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. The Congress also provided members with an open platform to engage with OISTAT’s strategic priorities and future directions.
