2017 International Symposium on Practice-as-Research (ISPaR)

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!


The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts is delighted to inform you that the inaugural International Symposium on Practice-as-Research (ISPaR) is now open for registration!

Bringing together arts practitioners, thinkers, researchers and leaders in the field, participants will be invited to explore ways that Practice-as-Research can contribute to enhancing performance and education outcomes. 

The symposium has an exciting line up of speakers and presenters from around the world. These include Estelle Barrett (Visual Art, Australia), Sha Xiaolan (Lighting Design, China), Lizbeth Goodman (Creative Technology & Inclusive Design, Republic of Ireland), Barbara Bolt (Visual Art, Australia), Simon Ellis (Dance, UK), Maria Delgado (Theatre & Film, UK), John O’Toole (Arts Education, Australia), Helena Gaunt (Music & Drama, Guildhall), Frans de Ruiter (Music, Leiden), Kok Heng Leun (Theatre, Singapore), Su Wen Chi (Dance & Interdisciplinary, Taiwan), and Charlene Rajendran (Theatre, Singapore).

A FULL subsidy of registration fee is provided to HKAPA staff and current students (except Habourfront Mixer on Day 2, for which charges at HK$480 per person), you are required to complete the online registration by 1 November 2017. (For registration, please click HERE.)
