We regret to announce that our beloved colleague, Mr. Miklós Borsa left us on 13th February at his age 80. Miklós had been the technical director of the Hungarian State Opera House for 42 years. The House was his life, one of his loves. He had been a lecturer for many years long, devoted great amount of time-sharing vast experiences to the next generations of theatre-makers. While having OISTAT Executive Committee and Governing Board meeting at Budapest, Hungary in 2017, the members had the privilege to spend precious moments touring with Miklós in the Opera House. His passion was truly contagious and uplifting. OISTAT community extends our deepest condolences to Mr. Miklós Borsa’s family, friends and colleagues. He will stay in the hearts of many.
