WSD 2022 will proceed as an IN-PERSON event. Moreover, the WSD Exhibitions, including Theatre Architecture Competition and Technical Invention Prize) will be available in a digital format. Call for Delegates & Student Delegates
WSD 2022 is offering engagement opportunities for delegates and student delegates who have an interest in theatre and performance. There will be exhibition team, Scenofest production team and administration team during World Stage Design. Register before June 5, 2022. More info.
Call for Presentations for Research Panels
OISTAT Research Commission will organize 3 panels in WSD 2022, the topics include "Research Conversations about Performance Space and Cultural Geographies", "Sustainable Performance Practice Publications" and "Reviewing Publication of Theatre Research and Practice Now". The presentations can be in-person or online. Apply before June 6, 2022. More info.
Scenofest Call for Participants
The Living Legends Workshop “The Toledo Panorama, a Symphony in Color and Sound” is led by Pamela Howard. Participants will be chosen to create a performative installation artwork based on El Greco’s Panorama. Apply before July 21, 2022. More info.
OISTAT strives to connect worldwide theatre practitioners by creating various platforms. In 2021, OISTAT held its first online World Congress and President & Executive Committee Elections. 35 sessions were held in 6 days and 310 people from 50 countries attended. 2021 was a fruitful year for OISTAT. Organized by CORP’SCENE, SENA 2022 (Southern European and Northern African OISTAT Scenography Forum & Festival) will be held from October 25 to 29 in Rabat, Morocco to celebrate the excellence of contemporary Design for Performance from SENA Areas.
